The aPad iRobot or the Apple iPad - That is the Question

eBooks:
Again, both units allow reading of eBooks. Apple's iBooks is definitely a fantastic application making the organization and purchasing of your eBooks a breeze. The aPad doesn't have the same App, but has a built in eBook reader available to download from the Android Marketplace. I prefer the screen on the ipad - as it's slightly bigger, but I prefer the price of the aPad - because it does the same thing.
The biggest argument FOR the aPad iRobot is the price. While you'll have to spend at least $500.00 to get your taste of tablet computer with an Apple iPad. You can get a feel for what it means to really use a tablet with the iRobot for less than half the price, with the entry model starting at only $189.00 I suggest spending less not because one of these products is better than the other, but because tablet computers in general are such a new product category that we really have to be sure we're able to use it, and that its functional for our own use. It's not like upgrading or getting a new desktop PC. We're accustomed to that form factor and how we use our desktop PC's.
My advice? Buy the aPad iRobot. If you like what you get out of a tablet PC, and still want to go for an Apple iPad, you can sell the aPad and get the iPad if that product will suit you better. But you'll have a chance to at least try out tablet computing and see if it works for your own lifestyle.
